【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthetemperatureatwhichaspecifiedneedlepenetrationoccurswhenspecimensaresubjectedtospecifiedcontrolledtestconditions.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedforethylcellulose,nonrigidpoly(vinylchloride),poly(vinylidenechloride),orothermaterialshavingawideVicatsofteningrange.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThistestmethodandISO306:1987(E)aretechnicallyequivalent,withtheexceptionoftheallowanceforcreep,priortobeginningthetest,inthistestmethod.
