【摘要】:Thispracticeisusedasaguidefortheinstallationofchemicalgroutinthepracticeofsealingsewermanholesfromleaks,cracks,andaroundpenetrations.Itisattendedtoassistsewerownersandengineer,ownerx2019;srepresentative,orauthorizedinspectorsforinstallationmethodspecificationandforcontractorstorefertoduringinstallationsofchemicalgroutformanholesealing.1.1Thispracticecoversproposedselectionofmaterials,installationtechniques,andinspectionrequiredforsealingmanholesusingchemicalgrout.Manholesorsectionsofmanholeswithactiveleaksshallberepaired.Manholestobegroutedareofbrick,block,cast-in-placeconcrete,precastconcrete,orfiberglassconstruction.Manholesorsectionsofmanholeswithactiveleakswillbedesignatedbytheengineer,ownerx2019;srepresentative,orauthorizedinspector,formanholegrouting.1.2Thecontractorshallberesponsibleforfurnishingalllabor,supervision,materials,equipment,andinspectionfollow-uprequiredforthecompletionofchemicalgroutingofmanholedefectsinaccordancewiththecontractdocuments.1.3Materials,additives,mixtureratios,andproceduresutilizedforthegroutingprocessshallbeinaccordancewithmanufacturerx2019;srecommendationsandshallbeappropriatefortheapplication.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
