【摘要】:Responder-definedrequirementsforthesetestmethodsaredocumentedinapreliminarydocumententitledx201C;StatementofRequirementsforUrbanSearchandRescueRobotPerformanceStandards.x201D;FieldofViewisimportantintermsoftheabilityoftheoperatortodrivetherobot.Lookingattheworldthroughazoomlensislikex201C;lookingthroughasodastraw.x201D;Lookingwitha30or40x00B0;fieldofviewlensislikex201C;drivingwithblinderson.x201D;Ontheotherhand,usingaverywidefieldofviewlens(withafieldofviewof120or150x00B0;),theoperatorx2019;suseofopticflowtocuedepthperceptionisseverelydegradedandnavigatinginatightenvironmentisverydifficult.Multiplecamerasarerecommended,withoneprovidingaverywidefieldofvieworalltogetherprovidingaverywidefieldofview.FarVisionVisualAcuityisimportantforbothunmannedairvehicles(UAVs)andgroundvehiclesforwideareasurvey.Zoomisrequiredforgroundvehiclesforwideareasurvey.NearVisionVisualAcuityisimportantforgroundvehiclesforwideareasurveyinexaminingobjectsatcloserangeandalsoforsmallrobotswhichoperateinconstrainedspaces.Testinginthedarkisimportantforsmallrobotssincetheymustsometimesoperateinspaceswithnoambientlighting.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofseveralkeyparametersofvideosystemsforremoteoperations.ItisinitiallyintendedforapplicationsofrobotsforUrbanSearchandRescuebutissufficientlygeneraltobeusedformarineorotherremoteplatforms.Thoseparametersare(1)fieldofviewofthecamerasystem,(2)visualacuityatfardistanceswithbothambientlightingandlightingon-boardtherobot,(3)visualacuityatneardistances,againinbothlightanddarkenvironments,and(4),ifavailable,visualacuityinbothlightanddarkenvironmentswithzoomlenscapability.1.2Thesetestsmeasureonlyend-to-endcapability,thatis,theydeterminetheresolutionoftheimagesonthedisplayscreenattheoperatorcontrolunitsincethatistheimportantissuefortheuser.1.3Thistestmethodisintendedtobeusedforwritingprocurementspecificationsandforacceptancetestingforrobotsforurbansearchandrescueapplications.1.4ThistestmethodwillusetheSnellenfractiontoreportvisualacuity;readersmaywishtoconverttodecimalnotationtoimproveintuitiveunderstandingiftheyaremorefamiliarwiththatnotation.DistanceswillbegiveninmetreswithEnglishunitsinparenthesesfollowing.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
